SENS acoustic products were used in B&T London’s UK showroom to improve interior sound comfort and deliver acoustic performance aligned with the architectural design. Within the project, SENS Baffles and SENS Bump felt panels were applied together on ceiling and wall surfaces to address different acoustic requirements and create a balanced sound environment.
Spatial Acoustic Solution: SENS Baffles
In the showroom’s meeting area, SENS Baffles systems installed at ceiling level were selected to control volumetric acoustics. These suspended acoustic elements regulate the propagation of sound waves within the space, helping to reduce reverberation time.
Integrated with the open ceiling layout and lighting fixtures, the baffle installation provides a strong, contemporary architectural expression while delivering an effective and functional acoustic solution.
Wall Acoustics: SENS Bump Felt Panels
SENS Bump panels applied to the wall and ceiling surfaces enhance speech clarity by providing sound absorption at mid and high frequencies. Their curved form contributes not only to absorption but also to a more even distribution of sound within the space.
Manufactured from recycled PET felt, SENS Bump panels combine sustainability, acoustic performance, and architectural integration. The panel modulation creates a surface composition that aligns with the space’s restrained architectural language.
A Showroom Experience Enhanced by Acoustic Comfort
This application, delivered with SENS acoustic solutions, provides a more controlled and comfortable sound environment for meetings, presentations, and one-to-one discussions within the B&T London UK showroom. The combined use of spatial acoustic elements and surface acoustic panels integrates auditory performance seamlessly into the architectural design.
